Parent - Voucher FAQs
WHAT is a voucher? 
A voucher is a convenient and secure digital payment option. This allows your child to shop at their schools Holiday Gift Shop®/Santa's Secret Shop® Cash Free
What if my child doesn't spend the full amount i purchased on the voucher?
​The Voucher is treated like cash at your school’s gift shop, any amount not spent on gifts would be given as cash.  Alternatively you can have your child pick out something for themselves or donate the funds to the school for other children to use
i purchased a voucher but forgot to send the slip in with my child, can they still shop?
YES, your child can still shop the school will be able to look up who has purchased vouchers by looking up the child’s name.
what is a secret supporter?
Secret Supporter is a way to donate funds to the school gift shop to allow other children to shop who might otherwise not be able to do so.  It is completely anonymous, the school report does not show who has donated. ​
is there a fee?
Yes, there is a small convenience fee that is added to your voucher purchase.  The amount your child has to spend is the amount you purchased without the fee.

Chairperson- Voucher FAQs
is there an additional fee to the school for using shopping vouchers?
No.  The person purchasing the voucher pays a small fee. This helps us keep our prices low.
can we track if vouchers have been used?
Yes!  In your Chairperson Dashboard, you have the choice of checking off spent vouchers each day.
what happens if a student loses their voucher?
Use your login credentials to view any/all purchases made for your school.  Simply write down the student’s name, Voucher Code, and the dollar amount, then proceed as normal.  ​
do we need to return the vouchers to fun services?
No, we don’t need the Vouchers.  We will attach a Voucher report to your invoice for your convenience. ​
can we give change to our students?
Absolutely – the Vouchers are treated like cash at your sale.  The entire Voucher amount will be deducted from your invoice. ​
when will i receive my credentials to login to our voucher acount?
You will receive an e-mail with login credentials prior to sending your parent letters home.  Typically two to three weeks before your scheduled start date.
what happens if a child doesn't use their voucher?
We encourage you to check your Voucher report at the end of the day and request students who haven’t shopped to be sent down – but if they can not shop, your school would simply provide a refund to the student’s family.  Remember, you’ll receive full credit for all vouchers purchased during the final invoice calculations
